Learn to practice yoga anywhere there’s a chair! Chair Yoga was originally created to support students with arthritis and limited mobility. It’s a practice that modifies standard yoga poses so that you can still experience the benefit of each pose while knowing you are fully supported by your chair. In a chair you can still stretch the body - creating more flexibility… you can also build strength and balance. Chair yoga is a beautiful was to help you get started with a practice, and to help you feel empowered run your practice - no matter your body type, physical ability, age or experience love. It’s a path to feeling more comfortable in your skin, more grounding and peaceful in your mind, and aware that wellness is available to you anywhere there’s a chair! This practice is wonderful for every body and could help those who specifically: struggle sitting on the floor have hip, knee & lower back pain have limited mobility want better balance want a fully approachable practice want to experience a creative practice want to experience traditional poses in a different way Drop-ins are welcome!
